The Penguin City game has 5 reels which are 3 symbols high. This game does not use standard paylines. Instead any three or more matching symbols in any position on adjacent reels starting from either the left or the right side of the screen constitutes a win. This is equivalent to 486 standard paylines.

The ‘Wild’ symbol is Wild, it only appears on reels 2 and 4 and when a Wild symbol contributes to a win it will lock in position for the next spin.

There is on one bonus feature when playing Penguin City. The bonus feature is triggered when you receive a Wild symbol that contributes to a win. When this happens ‘Penguin Escape Mode’ will be triggered. Penguin Escape Mode is a free spin feature. Each spin a penguin will try to escape from a Chinese restaurant. If your penguin manages to escape and the spin resulted in no winning combinations, the penguin will randomly change the reels to generated a win. If your penguin escapes and the spin has already generate a win the penguin will add a Wild symbol to a random position on the reels. Wild symbols are locked in place for the duration of the free spins. The free spins end when you receive your first non-winning spin and the penguin fails to escape. During the free spins a stacked ‘Emperor Penguin’ symbol is added to reel 3. This symbol is Wild. When you receive the stacked Emperor Penguin Wild symbol the symbol will shift one position down each spin until it leaves the reels and guarantees a win on each spin while it is present on the reels. No penguins will try to escape while the Emperor Penguin Wild symbol is present on the reels.
