Phoenix Fire Slot Review

Released September 2018

The Phoenix Fire game can be found at casinos offering Playson software. Playson are an established online gaming provider that have an impressive array of clients. Their games can most often be found as an addition to a larger primary gaming platform provider. As a standard Playson do publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within their game paytable or on the company website. As such we can say that the House Edge Phoenix Fire is 3.95%.

Phoenix Fire is a 5 reel game that is 3 symbols high. The game uses 10 standard paylines, playing from left to right and right to left.

Special Symbols

Wilds – The Wild symbol is the “Phoenix”, substituting for all symbols. The “Phoenix” symbol is only available on reels 2, 3 and 4 and will expand to fill the reel when it is revealed. The expanded reel will remain in place for another spin, with a chance to add another expanded wild to the reels. If this happens both will stick in place and there is one more chance to reveal a wild that can expand and leave you with three reels full of expanded wilds. The maximum number of re-spins is 3.

Conclusion

Playson have created a game that looks good, however the symbols being used are pretty standard and ones that you will have seen in other games that the software company has produced. There are no free spins or bonus features to mention other than expanding wilds, which stick in place. This is a great bonus, but it is the only bonus, something that we would always expect to see more of in a modern slots game. Having no Scatter symbol is also a little disappointing. The house edge is higher than average, meaning there is very little to recommend here other than that one good bonus.
