The Polar Tale slots game can be found at casinos offering CTMX/GamesOS software. CTMX are one of the smaller software providers though they – alongside Viaden - do seem to have a relationship with Playtech. They do not appear to publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games as standard, but some of their casinos appear to do this themselves. So far we’ve only found one casino – AdamEve – that has published this information for Polar Tale and they list the house edge as 4.68%. When playing at any other venue, this information should be used as a guideline only as the game may be configurable.

There are two bonus features when playing Polar Tale. The first bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Drum’ scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be awarded between 7 and 25 complimentary spins depending on how many Drum symbols you received.

The second bonus feature is activated in stages. Each time you win on a spin the Bonus Meter to the left of the reels moves up and each time you lose the meter moves down. When the meter reaches the top you’ll be taken to a new screen showing a series of fishing holes. Select three fishing holes to win random prizes. If you find a Sea Lion you don’t win anything for that pick.

Conclusion

While the bonus features may not be all that special, the way to trigger the second feature certainly is interesting and the house edge is a little lower than average.
