Reel Gems Review

Your search returned no results.

The Reel Gems slots game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard do not publish the slots house edge information of their games. However they lease their slots games out to casinos using other software, some of which do publish this information. So far we’ve only found one casino – Bet Victor – that has published this information for Reel Gems and they list the house edge as 3%. When playing at any other venue, this information should be used as a guideline only as the game may be configurable.

Nothing fake about these precious stones.

This game is a 5 reel game. Reel Gems does not use traditional paylines, instead any three or more matching symbols anywhere on adjacent reels starting from the left most reel pay. This is equivalent to 243 standard paylines. You can bet up to 10 coins at a time.

The ‘Reel Gems Logo’ symbol is wild and only appears on reels 2 and 4.

There are two bonus features when playing Reel Gems. The first bonus feature is active every spin. After you finish a spin, at the bottom of each reel you will find a button that allows you to re-spin that reel specifically. The more likely the reel is to result in a win, the more it will cost you to re-spin it. This can allow you to change those near misses into nice wins, if you’re prepared to pay for the chance.

The second bonus feature is activated when 3 or more of the ‘Jewelled Ring’ bonus symbol land anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will awarded 15 complimentary spins with all wins tripled.

Closing Thoughts

Reel Gems would be a fairly ignorable installation if it weren’t for an impressively low house edge – which certainly competes for the lowest house edge Microgaming slots game we’ve encountered.
