Reel Keeper Slot Review

Released June 2020

The Reel Keeper slot can be found at casinos offering Red Tiger software. Red Tiger is a relatively new software developer in the online gaming market, having only been in operation since 2014. Red Tiger focus primarily on slots games but do offer a few table games, albeit a very limited range of them. In compliance with UK gaming legislation, Red Tiger publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slot games within their pay tables. As such, we can say that the House Edge for Reel Keeper is 4.28%.

Reel Keeper is a 5 reel slot and each reel is 3 symbols high. There are 10 paylines in total, playing from left to right.

Theme – Reel Keeper has a dragon theme. You can expect large piles of gold, dragons (obviously) and eggs.

Special Symbols

Wild – The Wild is a random symbol that is essentially a base game modifier. If one does appear it will be added to the 5th reel and will fill all symbol spaces on it. With each spin there is chance it will move one reel to the left, but there is also a chance that it will disappear completely from the reels. If it makes it to the left-most reel then the Wild will leave the reel on the next spin. Wilds will substitute for all symbols other than Free Spins symbols.

Free Spins – The Free Spins symbol is the “Dragon Egg”. You need 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels to trigger the feature. They only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Free Spins – If you trigger the Free Spins you will be given 10 in total and when the Wild symbol lands on reel 5 it will remain on the reels, stopped and sticking in place once it has moved as far to the left as it can. In theory (although this is very unlikely) there is a chance that you can have 5 fully stacked reels of Wild symbols on the reels at once during the Free Spins.

Reel Keepers is a pretty basic slot, one that feels like a space filler for Red Tiger. This is partly down to the fact that most of they symbols looks as if they have been recycled from other Red Tiger slots and also because the features are lacking in any real imagination. You get Free Spins and Wilds and you Wilds come fully stacked and can remain on the reels. However, the house edge is far too high, which means we cannot recommend this one.
