The Reel King Mega game can be found at casinos offering Red Tiger software. Red Tiger is a relatively new software developer in the online gaming market, having only been in operation since 2014. Red Tiger focus primarily on slots games but do offer a few table games, albeit a very limited range of them. In compliance with UK gaming legislation, Red Tiger publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within their pay tables. As such, we can say that the House Edge for Reel King Mega is 3.86%.
Reel King Mega is a 5 reel game that is 3 symbols high. The game uses 20 paylines, playing from left to right.
Wilds – The Wild symbol will substitute for all other symbols.
High Paying Symbol – The highest paying symbol in the game is the “Bag of Gold”. The “Bag of Gold” will pay out 100 times the bet if you can land 3 as part of a winning payline, 200 times the bet if you can land 4 as part of a winning payline and 500 times the bet if you can land 5 as part of a winning payline.
Reel King - The Reel King feature is triggered when all reels are highlighted with a yellow background when they land. Up to 5 Reel King characters (one per reel) may be triggered.
Each triggered Reel King has his own special set of reels, which he will spin for a guaranteed win, and will continue to play until a losing spin occurs.
Reel King payouts are as follows:
Three RED sevens = 25X stake
Three YELLOW sevens = 10X stake
Three BLUE sevens = 5X stake
Three MIXED sevens = 2X stake
The feature ends when all the Reel King characters have gone.
King's Crown - After the reels stop, the King's Crown may randomly bounce around the screen and hit one or more symbols. The symbols hit by the crown are swapped for wilds.
Super Symbols - Each symbol has an additional 2x2 variation.
Gamble - After a spin which results in a win of more than 0.10GBP, the "Gamble" button is activated and you are given a chance to increase your win. Pressing the minus button decreases the potential win. The green section of the wheel displays the exact chance of winning. The red section displays the exact chance of losing. If the pointer lands in the green area, you win the highlighted prize. If the pointer lands on the red area the Gamble is over and you lose your winnings.
Reel King: Mega is a fairly basic looking game, not offering much in terms of aesthetics that is unlikely to impress. There are a few interesting features but no Free Spins or bonus feature. There is a gamble option that is a little different to the usual card flipping but has to be taken with the usual cautious approach. The house edge is decent but all things considered this is pretty uninspiring stuff. I wouldn’t give this a bad review but at the same time it is difficult to know what to recommend about it.
