The Resident Evil slots game is produced by the Bwin/Party group. This group provide the house edge information for some of their slots games and not for other, with no apparent rhyme or reason for the games they miss out. As such, if you are going to play with them we would recommend only playing games that they list the house edge information for. However we don’t recommend playing with this group at all due to their unwillingness to engage in 3rd party dispute mediation. For further information see the Bwin Casino Review.
Fight evil in all its manifestations in the slots version of this huge game franchise.
Resident Evil had 5 reels, 20 paylines and you can bet one coin on each of the paylines.
The ‘Resident Evil Logo’ symbol is wild and does substitute for the ‘Chest’ bonus symbol.
There are three bonus features when playing Resident Evil. The first is activated when you receive a 2 or more of the red, green and blue ‘Herb’ symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. When this happens you will be awarded complimentary spins. Not all combinations award complimentary spins.
The second bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Chest’ bonus symbol in a row on an active payline starting from reel 1. When this happens you will be asked to choose one of the chests and will be awarded a prize.
The third bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Umbrella’ symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing a forest location and the evil dead walking towards you. Each figure you shoot awards a prize. You will advance through various locations repeating this process until you have to face a giant and kill him.
As enjoyable as shooting zombies is, truthfully you’d have to be near dead at the keyboard to not hit every target with one shot. There is no challenge or skill to this feature. Perhaps that’s where the two different house edge figures come from? The higher being if you refuse to interact with the bonus feature at all?
