The Robin Hood’s Wild Forest slot can be found at casinos offering Red Tiger software. Red Tiger is a relatively new software developer in the online gaming market, having only been in operation since 2014. Red Tiger focus primarily on slots games but do offer a few table games, albeit a very limited range of them. In compliance with UK gaming legislation, Red Tiger publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slot games within their pay tables. As such, we can say that the House Edge for Robin Hood’s Wild Forest is 4.27%.
Robin Hood’s Wild Forest is a 5 reel slot and each reel is 3 symbols high. The slot uses traditional paylines, with 10 in total, playing from left to right.
Theme – This slot is obviously based on the Robin Hood myths. There are bags of gold, pints of foaming beer and background appears to be a house deep in the woods that is surrounded with chests and bags of gold.
Wilds – This slot comes with a number of Wilds, with a standard Wild that is a “Heart”. All Wild will substitute for all paying symbols and each specific Wild is described below:
Robin Hood Wild – When the Robin Hood Wild lands on the reels it will trigger a respin. Before the reels spin a random high paying symbol will be chosen to lock into place. All instances of that symbol will remain in place for the respin.
Maid Marian Wild – If the Maid Marian Wild lands on the reels it will add additional Wilds to that spin.
Little John Wilds – When a Little John Wild lands on the reels he will smash the ground and remove all low paying symbols from the reels, allowing only high paying symbols to land.
Wilds – The features in the this slot are the Wild symbols, as such there is no Bonus or Free Spins.
This slot looks the part, full of the most amazing designs, in terms of the symbols and the screen background. The Wild symbols are amazing but they are essentially all the features you get in this slot. There are no Free Spins or Bonus features and as such I can’t help but feel that Red Tiger have held back a little. The house edge is also higher than I would want it to be, which means this is an ultimately disappointing slot.
