The Secret Santa slots game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard do not publish the slots house edge information of their games. However they lease their slots games out to casinos using other software, some of which do publish this information. So far we’ve only found one casino – RedBet – that has published this information for Secret Santa and they list the house edge as 3-4%. When playing at any other venue, this information should be used as a guideline only as the game may be configurable.
Is it a £5 limit again?
The Secret Santa game has 5 reels and does not use standard paylines. Instead any 2 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the left side of the reels constitutes a win. This is equivalent to 1043 standard paylines.
The ‘Secret Santa Logo’ symbol is wild.
There are 2 bonus features when playing Secret Santa. The first bonus feature is activated whenever you receive a five of a kind winning combination. When this happens – after you’ve been paid for the win – all the contributing symbols will randomly transform into another symbol awarding a second five of a kind win.
The second bonus feature is activated randomly. When this happens one of 7 things will happen; up to 3 reels will randomly become wild, a random symbol will be turned into a wild symbols, you will be awarded 5 complimentary spins with all wins multiplied by 3, you will receive a random multiplier for an wins of between 5 and 10, the symbols that contributed to any winning paylines will disappear allowing new symbols to fall onto the reels (this will continue until no new combinations are created and each winning combination increased the multiplier on the win by one to a maximum of 12), all symbols become scatter symbols and pay in any combination or up to 4 Dashing wilds will be added to the reel.
With plenty going on, on the bonus front, an entertaining theme and a reasonable house edge, Secret Santa’s a great choice for once!
