Shogun Showdown is a Chartwell game. Chartwell appears to have closed down with the casinos offering their games standing alone with no further updates. Chartwell do not as standard release the house edge information of their games. However some of the casinos offering Chartwell games have started releasing this information. So far we have not encountered any casinos listing the house edge of Shogun Showdown.
The Shogun faced his enemy across the floor. Like lightening the movement came, steel clashing against steel, a rapid flurry of movement that was so quick it was instinctual rather than conscious. One slip and his blade tasted flesh.
This game is a 5 reel game, with 50 paylines and you can bet up to 5 coins on each payline.
The ‘Wild’ symbol is wild.
There are two bonus features when playing Shogun Showdown. The first is activated when you get three of the ‘Bonus’ scatter symbols anywhere on reels 1, 3 and 5. When this happens you will be awarded 10 complimentary spins.
The second bonus feature is activated by the ‘Shogun’ symbol which is stacked on all reels. Anytime you receive one or more of the Shogun symbol on a reel they will all change to a random symbol at the end of the spin. All Shogun symbols on one reel change to the same symbol. If you receive 4 Shogun symbols on reel 3, reel 3 is held in place while you receive 4 complimentary spins. These complimentary spins do not pay any wins, but hold each Shogun symbol that turns up. At the end of the 4 complimentary spins, all Shogun symbols change a symbol selected at random.
With so little in the way of player interaction, Shogun Showdown really requires no more than clicking a single button. Hardly a game for a deep thinker.
