The Showtime slots game was produced by the Mazooma Interactive slots design company and is leased out by casinos using many different primary casino platforms. As a standard Mazooma Interactive do not include the house edge information of their slots games, however some casino do list this information in the game help files. It is not clear whether their games are configurable and as such you should treat the information in this review as a guideline only when playing at a casino that does not explicitly state the house edge they use.
The curtain calls.
This is a 5 reel slots game with 20 paylines and you can bet one coin on each payline.
The ‘Wild’ symbol is wild.
There are three bonus symbols when playing Showtime. The first is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Safe’ symbol. When this happens you will be asked to click on one of the symbols to reveal the number of complimentary spins you have won.
The second bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Showtime Logo’ symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing a wheel divided into sections with each section containing a multiplier. You are allowed to spin the wheel once for each Showtime Logo symbol you received. After each spin you will be asked whether you want to keep the win – in which case the bonus feature ends – or discard the win to use another one of your spins. If you use all of your spins, you automatically take the prize from the last spin.
The third bonus feature is activated anytime you receive a Wild symbol. When this happens there will be an arrow on the wild symbol. As long as the arrow points to a symbol on an activate payline and that would contribute to a win, it changes the symbol it points at into another wild symbol.
With a pricey house edge and bonus features that are nothing spectacular, Showtime fails to sparkle.
