Silk Road is an Aristocrat game. Aristocrat are one of the smaller slots game developers and a sub-holding of Amaya. Aristocrat do not as standard release the house edge information of their games. However some of the casinos offering Aristocrat games have started releasing this information. InterCasino lists the house edge of Silk Road as having three settings; 2.55%, 5.26% and 9.53%. When playing at other venues that does not specifically list its settings, it would be wise to assume you are playing against the higher house edge.
The Silk Road brought previously unknown trade and wealth to the world, now’s your chance to claim some of it.
The Silk Road game has 5 reels and does not use standard paylines. Instead any 3 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the left side of the reels constitutes a win. This is equivalent to 243 standard paylines.
The ‘Silk’ symbol is wild and only appears on reel 2 and 4.
There is only one bonus feature when playing Silk Road and it is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Gold Moth’ scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be awarded between 10 and 20 complimentary spins depending on the number of Gold Coin symbols you receive. During the complimentary spins when the Silk wild symbol on reel 2 contributes to a win the win will be multiplied by 2. If the Silk wild symbol on reel 4 contributes to a win the win will be multiplied by 5 and if both Silk wild symbols contribute to a win the win will be multiplied by 10.
A bonus feature that is as generic as they come and a house edge that could be very attractive, but could also be really damaging.
