Slotblox slots game was produced by the Ash Gaming slots design company and is leased out by casinos using many different primary casino platforms. As a standard Ash Gaming do not include the house edge information of their slots games, however some casino do list this information in the game help files. It is not clear whether their games are configurable and as such you should treat the information in this review as a guideline only when playing at a casino that does not explicitly state the house edge they use.
The classic arcade Tetris game reimagined as a slot game.
The Slotblox game does not use paylines or coins in the traditional slots game format. Instead you have a Tetris screen where different shaped blocks fall down in random positions and orientations. Unlike Tetris the player has no control over the blocks what-so-ever, so cannot turn the blocks round or move them. Instead the blocks fall wherever they were dropped. The player is paid for groups of one to four lines being completed at the same time. Each payout type (single, double, triple and quadruple) has four different payout levels depending on the number of that type of win you receive in the game. Prizes are cumulative, so if you were to receive 3 triples in a game you would be awarded the prizes for 1, 2 and 3 triples.
There is only one bonus feature when playing Slotblox and it is activated when a line in completed using a ‘Magic Block’. The Magic Blocks are blocks that rotate in colour. When this happens you will receive 10 free games with all prizes doubled.
While this game does add a new twist to the standard slots game, a game based on Tetris where the player cannot in any way influence the game is quite simply frustrating.
