The Spin & Win game can be found at casinos offering Play ‘n Go software. Play ‘n Go are a growing provider in the industry and have a rapidly expanding portfolio of both slots games and clients. They do offer a full casino platform, but primarily seem to be used as a bolt on package for extra slots games. Play ‘n Go do publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help files. As such we know that the house edge for Spin & Win is 2.8%.
The Spin & Win game is made up of 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. There are 5 paylines, playing from left to right.
Wild – There is no Wild symbol.
Scatter – The Scatter symbols are the “TV Host” and the “Bonus Wheel”.
Bonus Features:
Scatter – If you reveal 3 or more of the “TV Host” symbols you will trigger one of the game’s Scatter bonuses. The symbols become gifts for you to choose from. You can win up to 150 times your initial bet.
Bonus Wheel – If you reveal 3 or more of the “Bonus Wheel” symbols you will trigger the game’s other Scatter bonus. The wheel is divided up into 6 segments. Each time you land on one of the segments an X appears on it. If you land on that part of the wheel again the bonus is over. You can win up to 103 times your initial bet.
Gamble – Winning lines can be gambled to gain an increased win. When you win you have the option to keep the win, try to double your win or try to treble it. If you want to double your win, you have to choose from 4 tiles. Two will win and two will lose you your bet. If you want to treble your win you need to choose between 3 tiles. One will win and two will lose you your bet. You can continue to double or treble your bet up to ten times in succession.
Golden Ring Jackpot – If you reveal 3 or more golden rings circling symbols across the reels then you trigger the game’s jackpot. 3 rings will trigger the “Tasty Jackpot” on the bronze wheel and a chance to win up to 15 times your bet. 4 rings will randomly trigger either the “Tasty Jackpot” or the “Luxury Jackpot” and a chance to win up to 60 times your bet on the silver wheel. 5 rings will randomly trigger either the “Luxury Jackpot” or the “Dream Chance Jackpot” and a chance to win up to 300 times your bet.
Conclusion
Spin & Win is a very similar game to another one of Play ‘n Go’s offerings; “Monster Smash”. Like that game Spin & Win has no Wild symbol, unlike “Monster Smash” there are no free spin bonuses. The other major difference has to be with how the game looks. Both games look good, but “Monster Smash” looks cool. “Spin & Win”? Not so much. The theme is a little on the dull side and having no bonus round like the awesome “Here. We. Go.” feature does reduce the entertainment value ever so slightly. However, that is made up for with an ever so slightly better House Edge. “Monster Smash” impressed with a 3% House Edge, with “Spin & Win” going 0.2% better. Whilst I prefer to play “Monster Smash” I can’t take anything away from “Spin & Go’s” superior House Edge, which is why I’ve rated both games the same.
