The Sugar Glider: Dice game can be found at casinos offering Endorphina software. Endorphina are one of the newer casino software providers on the market but they have managed to gain distribution with some of the largest casino networks currently active within the market. As a standard Endorphina do publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help file or paytables. As a software provider not licensed in the UK, and as such not required to publish this information, this is a significantly player friendly practice. As such we can state that the Sugar Glider: Dice House Edge is 4.00%.
Sugar Glider: Dice is a 5 reel slots game and each reel is 3 symbols high. The game uses 10 paylines, playing from left to right.
Wild – The “Preying Mantis” is the Wild symbol, substituting for all other symbols. When you reveal a “Preying Mantis” symbol, it will expand into adjacent reels. If you land the symbol in the centre of a reel it will become fully stacked, whereas one at the top or bottom will expand by one space. Ideally you want to reveal it on in the very centre of the reels so that it has the space to expand up, down and to either adjacent side.
Take Risk – Whilst you might not necessarily class this as a bonus feature, it does play a significant role in the gaming experience. With every win you get the chance to try and double your win by trying your luck in a game of “Play Your Cards Right” with the game’s dealer. If you can flip over a card that is higher than the one the dealer is showing you will double your win. Flip a card that is lower than the dealer’s and you lose the lot. This round continues until you either choose to stop gambling or you lose out to the dealer. In the result of a tie, no one wins.
Sugar Glider: Dice is the same game as Sugar Glider, except this time you get some additional dice symbols to go along with everything else. The game looks ok, probably a slight improvement on the original. The symbols are well designed, as is the background, but there is still a stark simplicity to them. I like the introduction of the sugar glider when the Wilds are expanding; he flies over the symbols as they turn into more Wilds, but other than that one moment there is nothing either visual or in terms of features to really mention. No Free Spins or Bonus game is pretty disappointing stuff and we’re yet to discover what the house edge for this slot is.
