Sword of Destiny Slot Review

The Sword of Destiny slots game can be found at online casinos offering WMS Gaming software who are a wholly owned subsidiary of Scientific Gaming. WMS Gaming do not publish their RTP or House Edge figures as standard. However UKGC licensed operators who now publish all game figures as standard. As such we can say that the House Edge of Sword of Destiny is 4.06%. As this figure has not been confirmed by the software provider we cannot confirm whether this game is configurable or not. As such this figure should be treated as a guideline only when playing at any operator that does not publish their RTP figures.

Grasp the Sword of Destiny and rule kingdoms.

Sword of Destiny is a 5 reel game with 25 paylines.

The ‘Sword’ symbol is Wild.

There are three bonus features when playing Sword or Destiny. The first bonus features can be activated randomly during any spin. When this happens the reels will shake then expand by two rows and one of the following bonus feature will be awarded:

– Between 1 and 3 reels will be randomly selected and turned into Wild reels.

– Between 4 and 9 symbols are randomly selected and turned into Wild symbols.

– Between 4 and 10 symbols in a rectangular shape are randomly selected and turned into Wild symbols.

– Two or more of the following symbols – Flask, Glove, Neckless, Scroll – are randomly selected and upgraded to one of the following symbols – Sword Man, Sword Lady or Castle.

When the reels are expanded the game had 50 paylines in play.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive the ‘X-Zone’ bonus symbol anywhere on reels 2, 3 and 4. When this happens you will be awarded 8 free spins. During the free spins each X-Zone bonus symbol you receive will award an additional free spin. Each win has a randomly selected multiplier between 2 and 10 will be applied to it. Different wins on the same spin can have different multipliers. Multipliers are only applied to payline wins, not scatter wins. The Sword Wild symbol does not appear on reel 1 during the free spins. An alternative set of reels is used during the free spins. Free spins cannot be retriggered.

The third bonus feature is triggered when you receive a symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5 that has a small spinning Golden Coin attached to it. When this happens you will be taken to the Temple Tower and you will be shown 20 gold stones. Above the stones a prize ladder is displayed with 16 levels. Select 3 stones. Each stone will reveal a number of levels up to 6 that you get to move up. The prize that you finish on is awarded.

Conclusion

Sword of Destiny is a handsomely appointed game with some very entertaining and engaging bonus features and a House Edge that is at least reasonably attractive. We’d be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a new game to try.
