There are two bonus features when playing The Champions. A target appears over one symbol on the reels. You can select which symbol the target rests on at the start of each spin. If you receive the Football symbol on the position you placed the target you score a goal. When this happens for the next 10 spins you will receive a 2x multiplier to all spins. If you score further goals during these ten spins, the 10 spin counter is reset to 10 spin and the increases as follows: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20. If you score further goals once you reach the top level your spins will be reset to 10 and your multiplier will remain at 20. There is no limit to the number of spins you can receive at this level. Your multiplier resets to 1 when the spin counter reaches 0.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive three of the ‘Flag Bonus’ symbol anywhere on reels 2, 3 and 4. It should be noted that the flag will change depending on which team you select at the start of the game. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing a penalty being taken.
