The Godfather Part 1 Slot Review

The Godfather Part 1 slots game is produced by the Bwin/Party group. This group provide the house edge information for some of their slots games and not for other, with no apparent rhyme or reason for the games they miss out. As such, if you are going to play with them we would recommend only playing games that they list the house edge information for. However we don’t recommend playing with this group at all due to their unwillingness to engage in 3rd party dispute mediation. For further information see the Bwin Casino Review.

Will you make The Don an offer he can’t refuse?

The Godfather Part 1 had 5 reels, 30 payline and you can bet one coin on each payline.

The ‘Don Corleone’ symbol is wild.

There are six bonus features when playing The Godfather Part 1. The first is activated whenever you receive one of the Don Corleone wild symbols anywhere on the reels. When this happens the symbol will expand to form a rectangle changing a random number of symbols on the reels into wild symbols and playing a short clip from The Godfather Part 1.

The other bonus features are all activated when you receive 3 or more of ‘The Godfather Logo’ symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen and asked to pick your bonus features. If you pick the Find the Don bonus feature you will be taken to a new screen where you have to choose one of the doors in a hospital corridor to find the Don before he is assisinated. If you choose the Captain McCluskey bonus feature you will be taken to a new screen showing a bathroom where you have to find the hidden gun so you can assisinate Captain McCluskey. If you choose the Johnny Fontane bonus feature you will be taken to a new screen and asked to help Johnny choose the attitude with which he will approach the Don to ask him to help get Johnny a part in a new film. If you choose the Asking a Favour bonus feature you will be asked to choose whether you demand justice or offer friendship to the Don to convince him to grant you a favour. If you choose the Family Loyalty bonus feature you will be taken to a new screen and asked to choose whether Luca Brasi stays loyal to the Don or betrays him.

It has to be said that despite a higher house edge than may be desireable, The Godfather Part 1 really has taken the theme of the film and worked it well with this slots game. Great fun and well worth a shot.
