The Great Chicken Escape is a 5 reel game and each reel is 3 symbols high. The slot uses paylines, with 20 in total, playing from left to right.

Special Symbols

Wild – The Wild symbol is the “Beret Wearing Chicken”, which will substitute for all symbols other than the Bonus symbol. The Wild symbol (along with “The Great Chicken Escape” symbol) is the most valuable in the game.

Bonus – The Bonus symbol is the “Bonus Map”. 3 or 4 of them anywhere on the reels will trigger a randomly selected Bonus feature. 5 of them will allow you to play the Big Money Bonus without having to gamble.

Bonus Features

The Great Chicken Escape comes with a number of randomly activated features that can trigger at any point during your spins:

Guard Dog Wilds – During any spin there is a chance that a random number (between 4 and 9) of Guard Dog Wilds will be added to the reels. Guard Dog Wilds substitute for all symbols other than Bonus symbols.

Chicken Run Wilds – During any spin there is a chance that between 2 and 4 reels will become fully stacked with Chicken Run Wild symbols. Chicken Run Wild symbols substitute for all symbols other than the Bonus symbol.

Special Reel Features – During both of the random features described above Special reels will appear. Golden Egg symbols will be added to the reels in stacks. This does not mean they will appear on the reels in stacks, just that they are stacked. At the end of the spin all Golden Egg symbols will be turned into one randomly selected symbol (not wilds or bonus).

Bonus Rounds – There are 5 different Bonus games available. If you have landed 3 or 4 of the Bonus symbols then you will have one of them selected at random for you to play. If you do not want to play the bonus that you have been given you can gamble it and try to land one of the other bonus features.

Bonus Gamble – Before your bonus begins there will be 5 pies laid out in front of you, each one representing one of the bonuses that are available. As you move to the right through the pies the quality of the bonus increases. Unless you have landed 5 Bonus symbols (if you have you will automatically play to the top bonus) then one of the pies will be chosen at random. However, you do not need to accept the pie you have been given. Instead you can gamble it. If you do so and are successful then you will be awarded the bonus to the right. However, if you lose you will only be awarded a mystery prize. You can continue to gamble your bonuses until you reach the top bonus or until you lose the gamble.

There are 5 Bonus games available to play in the Great Chicken Escape. Each one is described below:

Secret Tunnel Bonus – When this feature is triggered you will be presented with 3 chests. You need to choose one to open and once you do so you will either be awarder with an instant cash prize or a Mystery Tunnel. If the cash prize is awarded it will be added to the amount won on the triggering spin and the feature ends. If the Mystery Tunnel is awarded then you will be taken to a series of 4 tunnels. You will need to choose one and when you do you will be taken to whichever of the remaining bonus features it takes you to.

Poultry in Motion – This feature will see you make your way along a map, picking up golden eggs as you do so. As the feature begins you will have 5 eggs and will have to choose 1 of them. You will either move the number of steps forward that it reveals (between 1 and 5) or you will be given a collect symbol will end the feature. If you can get yourself to the end of the map you will collect nothing and will instead be taken to the Big Money Bonus.

Get Clucky Free Spins – If you trigger this feature you will be awarded 10 Free Spins, during which a new Wild symbol will be added to the reels. The Clucky Wild will substitute for all symbols other than Bonus symbols. Every time you land a Clucky Wild symbols the multiplier (which begins at 1) will be increased by 1, applying to all winning spins. The Special Reels feature is also in play during these Free Spins. The feature cannot be re-triggered.

To the Other Side Free Spins – During this feature you are awarded 9 Free Spins and one Special Spin. For the first 9 Free Spins every time you land a Wild symbol it will be collected and added to Wild symbol bank. On the 10th spin all the Wild symbols in the bank will be added bac onto the reels in random positions. The Special Reels feature is also in play during these Free Spins. The feature cannot be re-triggered.

Big Money Bonus – In this feature you are presented with 12 spinning barrels, each one containing a cash amount. After an initial spin a barrel will be chosen and the amount added to your triggering bet. You will then have to choose a golden egg that will either allow you to spin again or end the feature. This process continues until you end the feature or run out of barrels.
