Twerk Slot Review

The Twerk slots game can be found at casinos offering Endorphina software. Endorphina are one of the newer casino software providers on the market but they have managed to gain distribution with some of the largest casino networks currently active within the market. As a standard Endorphina do publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help file or paytables. As a software provider not licensed in the UK, and as such not required to publish this information, this is a significantly player friendly practice. As such we can state that the House Edge of Twerk is 4.00%.

Do you enjoy the shaking of the buttox?

Twerk is a 3 reel slots game and each reel is 3 symbols high. The game uses 5 paylines and you can bet up to 10 coins per payline.

There is no Wild symbol when playing Twerk.

There is only one bonus feature when playing Twerk and it is activated when you receive three of the ‘VS’ symbol anywhere on the reels.. When this happens you will enter battle mode. One dancer will be selected for you and another will compete against you. You are then taken to a new set of reels featuring only the symbols of the two competitors and the VS symbol. You will then receive 6 free spins. Each winning payline consisting of symbols of your dancers awards you 1 point. Each winning payline consisting of symbols from the competing dancer awards 1 point to the competing dancer. At the end of the free spins the dancer with the most points wins. If it is a tie the free spins continue until one player has won. If your player win you get cash bonus and continue onto the next round of the competition. Each round is the same but against a different competitor and there are a maximum of six rounds.

Conclusion

With the best will in the world I simply find this game’s theme overtly sexist. In an industry that is being put under the spotlight for its objectification of women this game does us no favours what-so-ever. More than a theme that is specifically sexualising women, the graphics the game used fails to show anything but the twerking asses of the female characters. These women get reduced to shaking butts. Putting this aside, Twerk is one of the more interesting games to come out of Endorphina. It has the standard House Edge at the top end of the range we’re commonly seeing with new releases today but the bonus feature is actually interesting. The battle format is fun especially for a 3 reel game. It’s just a shame that this game couldn’t have had a more appropriately balanced theme.
