The Valley of the Gods game has 5 reels and uses a unique game setup. The reel layout is 5 symbols high however not all symbols are in play at the start of the game. Reel 1 and 5 only have the middle symbol active, reel 2 and 4 have the middle three symbols active and reel 3 is all active. Valley of the Gods does not use standard paylines. Instead any three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the left side of the reels constitutes a win. This results in up to 3125 paylines when all symbols are active.

There is no Wild symbol while playing Valley of the Gods.

When playing Valley of the Gods, each winning spin triggers a respin. Each winning payline will release a Golden Scarab that will unlock one of the blocked symbols for the next respin and each respin will trigger another respin until a respin that results in no new wins. If all symbols have been unlocked further winning paylines from red, orange, purple and pink symbols will release a Red Scarab that will be banked on the right side of the reels and winning paylines from blue, teal or green symbols will release a Blue Scarab that will be banked on the left side of the reels.

When the full reels have been activated you will be awarded one ‘Extra Life’ which is banked on the right side of the reels alongside the Red Scarabs. An extra life allows you a losing respin but you will still trigger another respin.

For every five Red Scarabs you bank you will receive an Extra Life. For every five Blue Scarabs you bank the multiplier that will be applied to all wins on subsequent respins will be increased by one.
