Wheel of Wishes Slot Review

Released February 2020

The Wheel of Wishes slot game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard now publish the house edge information of all their slots at any online casino that holds a UKGC license (this is a requirement for all UKGC licensed casinos). As such we can say that the House Edge of Wheel of Wishes is 6.66%. When playing at any venue that does not hold a UKGC license and does not specifically publish the Return to Player information for their game, this information should be used as a guideline only as we cannot confirm whether or not this game is configurable.

This slot is all about the progressive bonus. If I had to pick out a theme for it I would argue that this puts us in traditional video slot territory, something similar to a gameshow where the wheel is the centre of everything.

Wheel of Wishes is a 5 reel game that is 3 symbols high. The slot forms wins over 10 paylines, playing from left to right.

Special Symbols

Wild– The Wild symbols will substitute for all symbols other than Scatters.

Scatter – The Scatter symbol is the “Wheel”. 2 or more of them anywhere on the reels will trigger a Power Spin. Power Spins will be described in the Bonus Features section below.

Bonus Features

Power Spin – If you trigger a Power Spin then reels 2-4 will fill with one giant symbol, whilst reels 1 and 5 will fill with matching symbols. This will give you a chance to win big but if you land a giant Bonus Wheel you will trigger the progressive jackpot feature. The higher the bet, the more likely the chances are of you triggering the Jackpot Wheel.

Power Mode – If you Press the Power Mode button then every spins will by a Power Spin but you will be playing at x9 the bet.

Jackpot Bonus – The Jackpot Bonus is a progressive jackpot that you have the chance to win when you land a giant Wheel symbol during a Power Spin. The value for each jackpot will be displayed above the reels, with a percentage of each player’s bet making its way into the pot. You will get one spin of the wheel and will pick up whatever jackpot or bonus it lands on. Once the main jackpot has been won the value of each will reset and all players will be informed.

This slot is quite simply all about the Progressive Jackpot. If you aren’t interested in playing at high stakes then I wouldn’t recommend you play Wheel of Wishes at all. There’s little entertainment on offer other than the thought of landing the jackpot. The house edge here is a shocker. You are paying a serious disadvantage in the ling term and because of this we would never recommend this slot.
