Wild Blood II Slot Review

Released January 2020

The Wild Blood II SLOT can be found at casinos offering Play ‘n Go software. Play ‘n Go are a growing provider in the industry and have a rapidly expanding portfolio of both slots games and clients. They do offer a full casino platform, but primarily seem to be used as a bolt on package for extra slots games. Play ‘n Go publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help files. As such we know that the house edge for Wild Blood II is 3.82%.

The Wild Blood II slot is made up of 6 reels, each one 4 symbols high. There are no paylines, instead you form wins when you land winning combinations of 3 matching symbols or more across adjacent reels.

The theme for this one is vampires. You find vials of blood, buxom wenches, skulls and a whole pile of other creepy elements that will leave you in no doubt about what this slot has to offer.

Wild – The Wild symbol is the “Male Vampire”, which will substitute for all symbols other than Scatters.

Scatters – The “Vial of Blood” is the Scatter symbol. You need 3 or ore of them anywhere on the reels at once to trigger the Free Spins feature.

Bonus Features

Respins – If you land a Wild symbol on the 6th reel, fully stacked, then you will trigger a respin. For the respin the Wild symbol will switch to the first reel, which should increase your chances of landing a win.

Free Spins – 3, 4, 5 or 6 Scatters will trigger 10, 15, 20 or 25 Free Spins respectively. You triggering bet will pay out at x5 and you will have the choice of 3 different versions, depending on which female Wild you decide to make active:

Laura – If you choose the Laura Free Spins, then any time a Laura Wild lands on the reels it will spread up or down.

Margaret – If you choose the Margaret Free Spins, then any time you land a Margaret Wild you will collect it after it has (or has not) paid out. Once you have collected 4 you will be given 2 additional spins and a multiplier will be active and increase by 1 thereafter, up to a maximum of x5 the bet.

Rebecca – If you choose the Rebecca Wild then any time one lands it will come with a multiplier of x2 or x3. Multiple Wilds will be multiplied together, up to a maximum of x81 the bet.

If you choose either Laura or Rebecca then 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 Scatters will award an additional 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 Free Spins respectively. The Margaret spins have their own unique way of retriggering, as mentioned above.

Wild Blood II is most certainly an upgrade from the original version of this slot. It might not look as impressive as some vampire slots I’ve played before but it is more pleasing on the eye than the first instalment. You get Free Spins with a choice of 3 different Wild options and you get respins that will land you with a fully stacked reel 1. The house edge is offering decent value, which rounds this slot off as, well, decent.
