Wolfheart Review

The Wolfheart slots game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard now publish the slots house edge information of all their games at any online casino that holds a UKGC license (this is a requirement for all UKGC licensed casinos. As such we can say that the House Edge of Wolfheart is 3.83%. When playing at any venue that does not hold a UKGC license and does not specifically publish the Return to Player information for their game, this information should be used as a guideline only as we cannot confirm whether or not this game is configurable.

Do you have the heart of a beast?

Wolfheart uses a unique reel layout. Reels 1 and 2 are six symbols high. Reels 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are 3 symbols high with reels 3, 4 and 5 stacked above reels 6, 7 and 8. There are 60 paylines and you can bet up to 10 coins on each payline.

The ‘Prince’ symbol is Wild.

There are two bonus features when playing Wolfheart. The first bonus feature is always active and before each spin a section of each reel is replaced with a stack of a randomly select symbol.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Wolf Pendent’ scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be awarded either 8, 12, 16, 25, 40 or 60 complimentary spins depending on how many Wolf Pendent symbols you received. During the complimentary spins the Prince and Princess symbols are turned into Wolf scatter symbols which double all wins they contribute to. If you receive 2 or more of the Wolf Pendent scatter symbol you will be awarded either 2, 8, 12, 16, 25 or 40 additional complimentary spins depending on how many Wolf Pendent symbols you receive.

Closing Thoughts

The most jarring point about Wolfheart is graphics that look 15 years old and in the fast paced technology markets that’s a big setback. Aside from this, the reel layout is a novelty, but not long term engaging. Combine this will a pretty basic free spin feature and there’s not a lot to draw you to this game.
