X Factor Steps to Stardom Slot Review

The X Factor Steps to Stardom slots game was produced by the GameSys slots design company and is leased out by casinos using many different primary casino platforms. As a standard GameSys do not include the house edge information of their slots games, however some casino do list this information in the game help files. It is not clear whether their games are configurable and as such you should treat the information in this review as a guideline only when playing at a casino that does not explicitly state the house edge they use.

Cashing in on the hugely successful reality TV show, here’s the slots version of X Factor.

This game is a 5 reel game, with 20 paylines and you can only bet one coin on each payline.

There is no wild symbol when playing X Factor Steps to Stardom.

There are two bonus features when playing X Factor Steps to Stardom. The first is activated when you receive three or more of the ‘Judges’ bonus symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing the silhouette of the judges from the X Factor. You press a button and the judge gives a yes or no verdict. If you receive a yes you win a prize and are given the option to see the next judge’s verdict to double your prize or take your winnings. If at any point you get a no, the bonus feature ends and you win nothing.

The second bonus feature is activated when three or more of the ‘Crowd’ bonus symbol land in a row on an active payline starting from the left side of the reels. When this happens you will be awarded between 5 and 15 complimentary spins depending on the number of Crowd symbols you received. During the complimentary spins you will collect star symbols which have been added to the reels. If you manage to collect 10 stars during your complimentary spins you will be taken to a new screen showing the ‘Live Final’. You get to make one choice from each of 5 categories defining what type of performer you are going to be then the judges award you a score in the form of a prize. If you aren’t happy with the amount you’ve won you are allowed to sacrifice it for another go. You can only do this twice.

Conclusion

X Factor Steps to Stardom offers nothing particularly surprising other than the standard ‘Gamble’ feature dressed up like a bonus feature.
