BoomBet Casino Review

Review last updated - September 2017.

OVERVIEW | 1.74/10

BoomBet are part of the Cyberrock Entertainment N.V. Group. They are licensed by Curacao eGaming, one of the weaker Curacao Master License holders that is rarely useful or responsive to player complaints. We consider Cyberrock Entertainment N.V. to be one of the highest risk to player groups in business today. Their website uses a red and dark grey colour scheme and features a logo styled on an explosion and featuring the card suit symbols.

TRUSTWORTHINESS | 0/10

The Cyberrock Entertainment group encompass a large number of Rival casinos that have been bought up from their original owners.

Rival has a history of issues and have failed to explain why they shared a Google Analytics code with a company, CertainKey, that were supposedly doing independent game testing for them.

The Cyberrock Entertainment group has been repeatedly linked to Rom

The Cyberrock Entertainment group of casinos are subject to a warning for various player issues at CasinoMeister and have been non-responsive to player complaints at various mediation portals.

The Cyberrock Entertainment casinos have been repeatedly associated with Rome casino - a defunct casino with a very poor reputation - via players reporting payments turning up in statements from "www.romecasino.com".

In late 2014 a situation came to light where an affiliate was found to be hacking into other sites and posting their gambling links on these sites without the owners knowledge or permission. This activity is clearly illegal and unethical. The majority of casinos that were receiving traffic from this affiliate closed the affiliate's accounts upon finding out what the affiliate was doing, however some casinos, whether via intent or insufficient security policies, continued to be listed on these sites for many months after the activity of this affiliate came to light. Many other brands managed to quickly take action to get themselves removed from the hacked sites (closing the affiliate account down and ensuring that new accounts could not be open). The BestPay Partners group failed to take appropriate action to deal with this issue.

In the first half of 2015 a complaint on Ask Gamblers saw a player suggesting that the terms and conditions of the promotion they played were changed AFTER they won to justify non-payment. Having looked at our terms monitoring service, if the information provided by the player regarding the dates they played is accurate then the rules were indeed changed after the date of play.

The BestPay Partners group - the central subset of the Cyberrock Entertainment group - have reportedly detagged affiliate referrals.

During September 2017 links came to light connecting the Real Vegas Group and Cyberrock Entertainment N.V. We consider it highly likely that these groups are managed by the same people.

We consider this entire group to be high risk to players and not one of the best online casinos. There are many far safer new casinos. You can find out about other operators in our casino reviews.

    Closing Thoughts

The Cyberrock Entertainment N.V. are in our opinion one of the worst groups for players in operation today and they have multiple ties to groups that have been just as bad in their practices. There's very good reason that they hold Blacklist status.

    Associated By Company

The below operators are run by the same company as this operator. This means that, for well regulated operators, self-exclusions or bonus bans may carry over to these properties. For poorly licensed, or unlicensed operators, it is good to know which other sites are being run by the same company, so you can avoid companies that have mistreated you in the past.
