Overview
Reel NRG has been around in one form or another since 2013 (according to the internet archives of their website) but is yet to gain a major foothold within the market. Like many of the smaller casino software providers Reel NRG focus solely on slots games. While there do appear to have been some table games offered historically, these appear to have been retired. At time of writing they offer around a dozen slots games.
In terms of slots games, Reel NRG offer games that are very impressive graphically, though still fall a little short of the standards set by market leaders like
Net Entertainment or
Yggdrasil Gaming for visual splendour. Their games do offer an autoplay feature allowing the user to select from 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 750 or 1000 spins with an auto-stop option on any win, if a single win exceeds your defined criteria, if a bonus feature is triggered of if the balance decreases by a specified amount. There is a 'turbo play' setting when playing Reel NRG games. The House Edge/RTP of the Reel NRG slots games is listed within the paytable information for all the games in their catalogue. Their games start around 3% (97% RTP) but do go as high as 5% House Edge (95% RTP). This range is about the average for the industry, although they do have games that tip both ends of the scale. The bonus features offered in Reel NRG games are what you might expect from a modern slots developer, with free spins and click and pick games in heavy rotation.
Reel NRG appear to have taken quite a while to really get going, but by the point of this review they have put together a selection of attractive games that have the potential to compete at the top end of the market. A larger selection of games would certainly be a big additional advantage, but this will take time to compile. As long as they continue to focus on producing games that look good they should thrive.
