77Jackpot - Accepting bets with no UKGC License

Declined - While we do not agree with operators accepting players without a license, unless there is something unfair about the games we won't rule on this basis alone.

Player's Complaint

Hi there, this company allowed me to deposit and play without having a UKGC license. It is illegal to let players play without a valid UKGC license. I feel very silly at playing at such a site but had received so many promotional emails that you take it for granted it has one!!! Especially when it has The United Kingdom as one of its countries of residence to choose from in it's drop down menus. My reason for emailing is to make other Uk players aware as you will lose your money but they will let you play illegally. Do not play here. Beyond this, however, I believe that my bets shpuld be void and this money refunded. Thanks so much, [EDIT].

Hi joanneyf - welcome back!

Before going any further I have to point out that you are one of our most frequent complainants and consistently you are choosing to play with operators we do not recommend. In fact, of the 3 complaints you've submitted in the last 12 months all of them have been against groups that we clearly list a Blacklisted. If you continue to ignore the information provided on this site and select operators that are engaged in highly questionable practices then you are going to be very likely to experience other issues.

Secondly - given that you have previously submitted complaints about EXACTLY the same issue with other unlicensed operators firstly I find it unlikely that you were unaware that 77Jackpot do not hold a UKGC license (we've pointed out that you should only be playing with UKGC licensed operators to you in the past) and secondly you'll be aware that accepting a player outside of license would not be reason in of itself that we would support a claim. There has to be something fundamentally unfair about the actual gambling transaction before we will uphold a claim. It is the responsibility of the government bodies regulating each jurisdiction to ensure that unlicensed operators are not accepting players from their country.

That being the case, if your only complaint here is that the operator does not have a UKGC license then I'm afraid there's nothing we can do to help you and we already make clear to players using this service that that is the case.

Finally this is a group that's Blacklisted with this service and has ties to another operator that has engaged in what we view as threatening behaviour towards this service previously.

If there's more to your complaint that this operator simply not having a UKGC license we will try to contact them but it is highly unlikely that they will respond to any communications we send to them.
