Betsson - confiscating win after a free 10 euro bonus

Found for the Casino - Betsson have enough evidence for us to establish that this player's account is unnaturally associated with other accounts. As such we'll take no further part in the representation of this complainant.

Player's Complaint

On 13th June 2016 I was given a 10 euro free bonus. I completed the wagering for this bonus playing slots. I ended with a balance of 54.92 which I tried to payout. This withdrawal was reversed couple of times. Couple of weeks later I decided to gamble than rather try keeping doing a withdrawal (which Betsson reversed without any notice by email).

I got very lucky playing Bloodsuckers slot and got a balance of 4362.

So I tried a withdrawal again and also contacted Betsson regarding the reversed withdrawals. Was told i needed to verify my account and also made a phonecall for verification.

All done, so I made another withdrawal and couple days later logged in and saw my account balance had been adjusted to zero.

contacted betsson and all they told was:

We want to inform you that we have rejected your withdraw request. It has come to our attention that you didn’t follow our Terms & Conditions and in this case we have to confiscate your winnings.

We like to refer you to point 12.1 in our Terms & Conditions.

I hope you can contact Betsson and get this resolved.

Before we can do anything to help you I need you to provide me with the username and email address you use at Betsson.

Having looked at term 12.1 it appears that Betsson believe that there is more than one account registered under your name, IP address or postal address.

Once I have the above requested details I'll contact the operator and see what I can find out.

Yes we did receive your details.

We're in the process of putting in place a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the Betsson group that will ensure that they can discuss all complaints coming in from now on. This does involve a lot of people signing off to approve the agreement and lawyers are involved so it's taking a little time.

I'll get back to you as soon as I have more information.

What I've been told by the operator is that you have been in breach of terms and conditions due to the operation of multiple accounts to claim bonuses that you were not entitled to.

At the present time they have described the evidence they have gathered but not presented it for examination. That's why I'm working to establish a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the operator's legal team.

What I can tell you at the present time is:

i) If we do not managed to get an NDA place this complaint will be marked as 'Unresolved'. We have two different parties making opposite claims (presuming that you would refute the claim of multi-accounting) and no evidence on which to base a decision.

ii) If we do establish an NDA and the operator provides the evidence they claim to have gathered then this would be enough that we will rule the complaint in favour of the operator and will engage in no further discussion of the matter with you.

iii) If the evidence is not as described then we will review what they have gathered a make a decision regarding whether or not this is strong enough to justify non-payment.

I apologise for the delay, but as this process is involving working through the affiliate department and going through multiple legal teams in offices situated across the world it is a slow process. When we have either reach a point where I see no possibility of establishing the required NDA or I have received the information relevant to your case I will update you regarding what our position is.
