Player's Complaint
Had excluded an account with Betway. Was then able to open an account with an incorrect date of birth. Betway could not automatically verify age on the new account due to this and asked for a passport copy to manually verify as per their terms. I sent this passport with my correct DOB, different from account sign up. They still verified my account and allowed me to lose 800 pounds. I have a serious gambling problem. However, on checking Betways terms on verification it states that if any details differ based on the documentation sent the account would be immediately frozen. This is also the UKGC rule on it. I feel because they have clearly missed this they are not checking what they are receiving and simply verifying accounts without establishing facts exposing people like myself to issues.

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to help you in this instance. The Betway group is consistently non-cooperative in the management of player complaints submitted to this service, but even if they were to look to talk to us I'm afraid where you have intentionally looked to circumvent a self-exclusion by registering under altered details the operator's responsibilities to prevent you from accessing their services are significantly diminished.
