I claimed R2500 and was told to submit scanned copies of documents and photos of my self holding my ID, my debit card copies and proof of address on my ID. These are needed for verification purposes. I agree to the verification process but the documents needed seem to raise a lot of security risks. The people sending me information from the Casino are not indicating their proper names when they already have mine and the money I paid to play the casino. So I will not be getting my winnings if I am worried about my security. I am ready to provide other verification documents but not the ones that could put my own security at risk. That is my problem.
Thoma2000 has confirmed that they have now received payment and as such I'm going to close this complaint as 'Resolved'.
I'd offer my apologies again for failing to respond promptly to the submission of this complaint.

Hi Thoma2000 - apologies for the delay. Somehow I missed your complaint.
I'm afraid what you describe is fairly standard security requirements within the online gambling industry. All online casinos will ask for proof of ID, proof of address and proof that you have possession of the credit/debit card that you used to make payment . Some will require a photo of you holding the ID to ensure that it has not been stolen from someone else.
There's simply no way that you will receive your funds if you're not prepared to provide the requested ID as your account will be viewed as a high fraud risk.
If you like I'm willing to contact Da Vinci's Gold and request details of their security procedures and hopefully put you in contact directly with one of their security team so that you can provide your documents. I will stress thought that receiving your funds will be entirely dependent on you providing the relevant documentation.
Thanks.
