Foxy Bingo - Not respecting deposit limits


Resolved - Foxy Bingo has informed us that this player has been paid. The player has been non-responsive to our requests for updates so we assume they are happy.

Player's Complaint

As a bit of background, I had set myself a £40 daily deposit limit on FoxyBingo to limit how much I could deposit in one day.

I did this on Wednesday 4th August 2022. This change never took effect I was able to go well over my daily limit.

On Thursday 5th August 2022, I tried to deposit on GalaCasino and I noticed I could only deposit £40 on there so it looks like your system updated the limit on the wrong site. I had the limit removed on 6th August 2022.

I raised this with them on August 10th but my request wasn't acknowlenged and I'm not sure if that's still an issue but it's worth looking into.

My account has been locked for another reason but I was wondering if it'd be possible to seek a refund for anything in excess of £40 that was spent on FoxyBingo during the time the limit was in place.

Unfortunately you have chosen to play with an operator that is both negatively listed with this service and who has historically been non-cooperative with complaints submitted to us. While we will try to contact the operator on your behalf the chances of a successful mediation are low.

Thank you, the reason I raised this was more out of a moral standpoint that deposit limits should be respected on their site, I'm not sure if that'd go against the Gambling Commisions TOC or anything like that so I thought it was worth the mention to see if the issue is still apparent as I can no longer test.
