Player's Complaint

On their sister site Coral I made some deposits through PayPal. Usually I just let PayPal take funds from my bank card however my bank had been rejecting payments and PayPal then defaulted to use a family members card which I didn't realise was on there. The family member got a call from the bank fraud team and rejected the transactions as fraud.

Eventually the bank and PayPal sorted out the chargebacks with Coral as I had refunded the family member and Coral closed my account along with my accounts on all of their sister sites.

At the time I had a £100 balance with Coral and a £121.10 balance with FoxyGames.

I emailed both to explain of the issue and Coral issued a full refund of the £100 balance however FoxyGames have reported that my funds have been siezed and can't be refunded.

I got in touch with them but they said they would not return the balance even though the disputes with Coral were settled.

I was hoping to recover the £121.10 balance from FoxyGames as I can't see a reason why they should be able to withhold the funds, especially if Coral (who I had the issues with) have paid out.

Many thanks

Hi fakeusername123 - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

Was the contested balance deposited funds or winnings?

Thanks,

Hi,

I am not entirely sure I'm afraid as it was a while ago. Atleast a portion of the funds would have been deposited.

Many thanks

Hi fakeusername123,

At the very minimum the operator are going to view this activity as a significant security risk and are unlikely to accept any further play from you. Charging back deposits is a highly problematic practice within the remote gambling industry - usually engaged by poeple who are simply unhappy that they lost money. While you may have a reason that this did happen, sadly this is unlikely to change the operator's position on your account.

Any play on your account that was engaged from the charged back funds would immediately be void.

We'll contact the operator about this issue, but would have limited expectations regarding success in this instance.

Thanks,

ThePOGG

Hi Guys,

Thank you.

To confirm the accidental chargebacks were on Coral and not on FoxyGames. The funds I played with on FoxyGames were fully funded and I never had an issue on that site out of 100s of deposits .

I just thought it was a bit strange that Coral would payout and FoxyGames wouldn't when the issues I had were with Coral. Coral did ask me to get in touch with FoxyGames about it when I advised them about the siezed funds but I didn't get very far!

Many thanks!
