GR88 – Waiting for winnings from Casino since December 2014


Found for the Player - Once again GR88 have been totally non-responsive to a complaint and have failed to pay a player a significant sum of money.

Player's Complaint

I had been playing at GR88 Casino for a couple of months without winning, then in December GR88 Casino sent me a VIP Bonus Offer. I deposited for the bonus and managed to go on a winning spree, I was really excited. Then the issues started. Firstly the casino said I would have to pay if I wanted to withdraw more than £2,000 in one month. In the end it took GR88 a month to send my money every time so I never had to pay the fees. They paid me in January, February, March, April, but then no payment was received in May. I have been waiting ever since. If I email the support team I receive a template response that the message has been forwarded to the finance team and they are sorry for the delay. The support team finally gave me the email of [EDIT] ([EDIT]) but he does not respond to my emails. I have now been waiting 10 months for my winning which I find disgraceful. I would like your help in receiving my winnings from the casino.

I am still owed a total of £4,666.

Unfortunately it's unlikely there's going to be much we can do to help you here. This group is non-responsive and has become fairly well known for these payment issues recently.

Hi rhubarb474,

Unfortunately despite repeated attempts to get hold of someone at GR88 to deal with this, we've received no response what-so-ever. This has become par for the course with this group and knowing that there regulator is Cyberluck, who simply don't respond to player complaints, there's not even anywhere I can direct you to.

I'm really sorry we couldn't be of more help with this issue.

Thanks for your efforts on this. Are Cyberluck not accountable to anyone? Is there anything else I can do? I made my payment through Skrill, is it worth contacting them as they are still processing payments for GR88. Over £4,000 is a lot of money to just let someone keep without paying for no reason.

Hi rhubarb474,

I'm afraid to say that Cyberluck are the regulator. There's no one I'm aware of to complain to about them. Unfortunately this is the risk you take playing with any operator who solely holds a license in Curacao, if you're playing with one of the non-responsive Master License holders you have no recourse what-so-ever if things go wrong.

If I was aware of any other avenue of pursuit I would have suggested it rather than closing the complaint.

You could try contacting Skrill, but as the operator will still be paying fees for transactions to Skrill I very much doubt that they're going to take action against them.
