Grosvenor – Bad Game

Resolved - While the player has had an unlucky run on the games at Grosvenor casino, they do not have av sufficient sample size to conduct any sort of mathematical analysis of the games involved. As such there's no supporting evidence to show that their results were anything more than bad luck.

Player's Complaint

I have played at Grosvenor, I joined the site and played here as the RTP displayed where so good up to 96.99%.

Yet many times I have played its cost me £500-£800 just to get my first game feature paying normally bout 10% of my deposit amount.

Example I have just played the Lucky Ladys Charm, I have deposited over £500 before getting my first game feature to pay me just £44 on £1 per spin.

I cannot understand why on this site I get by far my worst game value for money yet it displays some of the highest RTP %?

I would like to complain and have this investigated, I feel something is wrong with the game play / RTP

Hi tynab86 - thanks for getting in contact.

I'm afraid there is nothing we can do to help with this type of issue.

Slots games are what is called 'high variance' games. This means that you can have really long losing streaks without seeing a win. The top end wins are so much larger than most other games that they have to be awarded very infrequently for the game to make money for the casino. Consequently, without having multiple millions of spin data to analyses, no mathematically valid conclusion could be drawn regarding a game performing at a stated RTP level.

Alongside the above, this site does not have the financial resources, nor the man hours that would be required to generate the data required to complete an analyses of one slot game never mind multiple slots games.

I will state that I think it's highly unlikely that Grosvenor are cheating - this is a group that run offline casinos in the UK and would likely lose their license to do that if they were found to have engaged in dishonest practices online. However, if you're still genuinely concerned about the fairness of their games, I'd recommend moving to another casino where your confidence hasn't been undermined.

One thing that I would strongly discourage you from doing is chasing your loses - regardless of the above statement about the high variance of slots games, having an extended losing streak does not make you in any way 'due' for a win.

If there's anything else I can help with, please don't hesitate to get back in contact.
