Player's Complaint

I would like to lodge a formal complaint against the online casino “Jackpot City”, operated under Belle Rock Entertainment.

I accepted I had a gambling problem at the beginning of this year, and requested that Jackpot City remove my account. They did so accordingly.

Once I thought I was out of the grips of this addiction, I (stupidly) decided to create a new Jackpot City account. I used the exact same (accurate) credentials, and was able to play for weeks and weeks.

Until- I won $600 and requested it to be withdrawn. Jackpot City then locked my account and said that because I asked for my old account to be removed, they will remove this one too.

When I asked them why they didn’t ban it as soon as they saw I started spending money/made a new account, I was given no answer. I asked multiple times on their “live chat”. I pointed out that it’s very strange to allow someone who admitted they were a problem gambler, to play for weeks, until they win something, and then lock their account.

Attached are screenshots of my conversation with their help desk, you can see me once again asking the same question, and being responded to with: “have you tried our progressive jackpot?” When I had clearly stated I am a problem gambler.

Thankfully now I have put un-removeable VPN’s in place on my computer and cellphone so there is absolutely no way I can online gamble anymore, which is the only thing that used to do it for me (ie. I do not go to pokies, scratchies etc). I have been clean since this incident.

I have done further research into this company and have seen they have done very similar things to other people. I would like my money back that I spent on their website because they shouldn’t have accepted it in the first place. They are vultures and I would like if not my money back, an explanation and apology from these people.

I am lucky that I have now gotten out of the grips of this addiction and am financially stable again, with no desire to gamble. Please keep this email confidential apart from notifying the necessary people, as I am very secretive and ashamed of my past problem gambling.

Kindest regards and many thanks

Hi anonymousone188 - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

Unfortunately you've also chosen to play with a group that are both negatively listed here and uncooperative in their response to complaints submitted to us. While we will try to contact the operator on your behalf, the chances of a successful mediation are low.

Thanks,

ThePOGG

Hi anonymousone188,

Unfortunately after repeated efforts to discuss this issue with Jackpot City we have received no response what-so-ever. At this juncture I have no reasonable expectation of this changing.

All I can suggest you try now is contacting the operator's ADR eCOGRA.
