Player's Complaint

Hi!

I signed up to mybet through AG (understand this is affiliate site) as they advertised mybet accepts UK players. As I reached mybet site, I noticed advertisement of AG partnership and UKGC. As I signed up, there was no section for UK to choose as a country. I continued and used my nationality instead and entered all the rest of my UK details correctly thinking there must be a slight mistake and this could be sorted afterwards. I then made my deposits and played. The next day I contacted live chat in regards to this and I learned that this platform does not accept UK players nor do they pay out winnings or refund deposits. He quite abruptly accused me of entering fake details etc although I explained there has been a misunderstanding. Since then, I have emailed their support and payments dept. and it has now been over two weeks and I have received no reponse. I would highly appreciate if you could assist me with this please.

Thank you in advance!

Hi!

I have received a response from mybet.

"Thank you for contacting us.

We would like to inform you that there are no funds in your account therefore no refund can be processed.

Should you have any other queries please contact us via email at support@mybet.com.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Best regards,
[EDIT]
mybet-Team"

Unfortunately I was mislead by their logo of UKGC displayed on their website with a link to UKGC website. I was initially told that "they have to" display this although they do not have a licence with them. I was also explained that they have another platform in which they do accept UK players however at the time there was no such information or slightest indication of this on their website. Please note that approximately 2 days after me informing them of the issue, my bet added a pop on on their website to redirect UK customers to the correct platform. Unfortunately this was not in place at the time I accessed my account.

Hopefully they will be more responsive to you than they have been to me..

Thanks again!

Hi Leenam,

Thanks very much for confirming receipt of your funds.

I would STRONGLY advise you against every entering anything other than accurate details when signing-up with any online casino. myBet did make a point that you'd breached terms and conditions by doing so and while they've agreed to make a goodwill gesture in this instance, that is far from guaranteed to happen in future.

Thanks again,

ThePOGG
