Player's Complaint

Received an email from Ocean Breeze after adding GAMBLOC to my account. I stupidly deposited £40 to my account and played it through. The games looked similar and after googling I realised I had self excluded myself from sister sites, windiggers,verywell, vegas wild and wild vegas. Today I asked for a return of my £40 due to my being self excluded the company being blacklisted and the fact I had added GAMBLOC to my account.

I was told they would not refund my £40 deposit and they had zero tolerance of gambling addicts. Very irresponsible, especially emailing me their promotions when I had added GAMBLOC, I believe they were taking advantage of that

Hi lyngod57 - welcome back.

Firstly I assume when you say 'GAMBLOC' you mean the UK self-exclusion scheme Gamstop. This program only includes UKGC licensed operators. If you choose to play with unlicensed operators Gamstop will not offer any protection.

As a UK citizen you should only be playing with operators that hold a UKGC license. Ocean Breeze Casino do not hold a UKGC license and as such are breaking UK law by accepting your custom.

Finally, outside of the UKGC licensing system, self-exclusions will almost exclusively apply only to property you request them at. Where you choose to play with an unlicensed/maybe Curacao licensed operator like Ocean Breeze Casino, there is no possibility of your self-exclusion being carried over to other properties that the operator may be involved with in any way that would benefit you.
