Player's Complaint

About 4 mouths ago I made a deposit of 100 and won over 3k pounds. They told me that I had been making strange bets and could not pay me. I did not no at the time they had a wage limit. In there terms and conditions they said your only allowed to bet 30% but I did not have any bonus from them and used my own funds. Then I notice they change this rule to any deposits soon after. I have tried everything to get them to talk to me or meet me half way but nothing

Hi gary2112 - welcome to!

There are two facets to this complaint and I'll deal with them separately.

Firstly I can say with absolute confidence that the term related to deposits was not changed or added after you played. We've been aware of this rule across all the properties in this group for multiple years now. It is your responsibility to know and understand all of the terms at any operator that you sign up to. Simply saying "I did not know at the time" wouldn't be a valid argument in any situation where the terms were clearly presented to you before play. That's the aspects of the case that would support the operator.

Secondly, we are aware that this particular term is likely unenforceable under EU - That would be the facet of this case that would support you.

The reality here is that Park Lane are licensed outside of and have no holdings within the EU. Having spoken with this group numerous times about this term I can with confidence that they will not back down. As such there's nothing we can actually do for you here.

Finally as a UK citizen you should not be playing with any operator that does not hold a UKGC license. Any operator accepting UK players without a license is breaking UK law. That being the case you're far more likely to experience issues playing with operators already prepared to flout the laws of your country.

Sorry we can't be of more help,
