hi its skybingo not skyvegas. hi i was on gamstop and i had a bad patch and joined up to sky bingo i didnt think i would be able to but i tried and to my suprise they let join and that was it 7 weeks of maddness from may to july i made deposit after deposit i never got asked for id i was even able to withdraw no id checks i finally came to my sensesand reprted to skybingo i was on gamstop and should not of been allowed to join as i am a gambling addict.i asked them to refund my depositsbecause they never done the proper id checks and never oncestepped in to ask if i was happy spending all that money deposit after deposit all day some days and all night no red flaggs on there part not once. i feel ashamed of what i did it wasall my savingsi am a single mom and out of work i suffer with stress and deppression and i hate what i have done. but i feel they did not act upon my gamstop and if i had not told them i would of still been on there depositing. [EDIT] from the complaints team just said no we will not uphold your complaint because your gamstop did not match your sky account the only thing that was diffrent was o put my middle name on sky because my middle name is on my debit card and i had a new email. but my dob nameand address matched. and also she said i had another account that was joined before my gamstop but i dont ever rember having another account. but the main reason was she said my details did not exactly match but with the new id laws they are meant to check dob name and address so if they had done that my gamstop would of shown up. i was able to withdraw aswell so my id got through security so it must of matched.

Unfortunately it's highly unlikely we will be able to do anything to help you in this instance.

Firstly, Sky Vegas/Bingo are negatively listed with this service and have been non-responsive to complaints submitted to us historically.

Secondly, the terms of use of GamStop include the following:

"It is in your interest to provide us with accurate details consistent with those which you have used to set up accounts with online gambling operators. GAMSTOP may not be able to spot inaccuracies or other differences in account details, and we may not be able to prevent you accessing accounts you have created using, for example, email addresses that you have not provided to us as part of the registration process. GAMSTOP will operate on the basis of the information you have provided at registration and we will not be responsible for failure to spot errors made on your part."

GamStop specifically define that if you uses different details to register with operator - explicitly highlighting email address - the system may fail. That being the case your GamStop exclusion is not likely to be valid grounds to contest your play.

Finally, with regard to registration verification checks - this is an area that would be considered 'non-transactional'. The UKGC have restricted ADRs from reviewing this type of matter. While we are not beholden to the UKGC in these matters, the chances of the operator being willing to discuss this aspect of the claim with us when they would not with their official ADR is low.

I'll contact the operator on your behalf but the chances of a successful mediation are low.

My understanding of the UKGC standards for ADRs would be that IBAS will not be allowed to engage with this complaint.
