Stay Lucky – Taking money unlawfully
Ruling
Found for the Casino - The Curacao licensing system does not require operators to carry over self-exclusions. It is a weak license with weak player protections.

Player's Complaint
Hi last week I closed my account with Cashspinscasino due to a gambling addiction yesterday I played and spent using a credit card some money on staylucky casino, I have emailed since to close my account and complain as when I closed my cashspins casino I would have thought with them being sister sites and having the same operator prism marketing they would close all open accounts and I have asked for a refund as I feel they should have been more vigilant with advertising that they use gamaware etc.
Am I entitled to this refund and can you help me please as they have advised they do not refund money, or can I call my credit card provide could they get me the money back! I understand I have a responsibility but so does the website they are happy to take money knowing someone has an addiction hope you can help!

Hi shelly2012 - welcome to ThePOGG.com!
Hi baha - welcome to ThePOGG.com!
As a UK citizen you should only be playing with operators that hold a UKGC license. Stay Lucky do not hold a UKGC license and as such are breaking UK law by accepting your custom.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you in this instance. Where you choose to engage with unlicensed operators you will receive lower standards of protection. Outside of the UK licensing system few licensing bodies expect self-exclusions to extent beyond the property they are requested at. Outside of European licensing bodies, we're not aware of any that do.
You may find our free Responsible Gambling app BetBlocker useful. It allows users to restrict their internet capable devices from accessing over 12k gambling operator websites for between 24 hours and 5 years.
Sorry we cannot be of further help,
