Crave Vegas Casino REVIEW

Players from United States cannot play at Crave Vegas casino.

Review last updated - August 2018

Crave Vegas Casino are a Rival powered casino brand licensed in Curacao and does not provide any company ownership information. They provide the standard Rival download and instant play casino clients. Crave Vegas Casino use a colour palette of black, white and pink.  Their logo is their name in block capitals with 'crave' in white and 'vegas' in pink.

Crave Vegas Casino run on the Rival platform. Rival has a history of issues and have failed to explain why they shared a Google Analytics code with a company, CertainKey, that were supposedly doing independent game testing for them.

As of the 21/08/2018 the terms and conditions document at Crave Vegas Casino is a near 100% match to the terms and conditions being used by the Game Tech Group - a group that have been Blacklisted with this and many other services due to a wide array of issues. We consider it likely that Crave Vegas are associated with this group. The bonus section of the terms and conditions explicitly mention Ramses Gold Casino a member of the Game Tech Group.

(NR) Predatory win term - "13.5. If a player's accumulated deposit amount does not exceed €200, player will be entitled only up to X10 last deposit. This maximum payout will be enforced also in cases where the player made additional deposits which were deemed at the sule discretion of the Casino to have been made in order to exceed the €200 accumulated deposit amount." - 21/08/2018. Outside of bonus play players have no reason to expect that winnings will be in any way capped. It is our understanding, based on discussion with the MGA and MCCAA, that this type of term is not compliant with EU consumer law.

(Blacklisted) Rogue Responsible Gambling terms - "13.6. Should you place deposit limits on your account, any withdrawal request will be limited to five (5) times the deposit limit, and not exceed €5,000 per thirty (30) day period. Any requests exceeding this amount will be declined, and the funds will be returned to your Account balance. You may then place a new withdrawal request in-line with this limit." - 21/08/2018 - It is entirely unacceptable and unethical to take punitive action against players who engage appropriately with Responsible Gambling tools.

(NR) Predatory withdrawal terms - "13.4. Withdrawal requests will be limited to a maximum of €5,000 per thirty (30) day period. Any requests exceeding these amount will be declined, and the funds will be returned to your Account balance. You may then place a new withdrawal request in-line with this limit." 21/8/2018 - Withdrawal caps have to exclude the payment of progressive jackpots as progressive jackpots are paid by the game network provider and by the jackpot contributions that should be collected and ring fenced at the time of bet. Withholding these jackpots is done with the intention of frustrating the player into losing their win back to the operator.

(NR) Predatory non-bonus terms - "16.3. "Irregular play" includes, inter alia: Placing total bets equal to or greater than 30% of the value of the deposit currently in play. Using Martingale, double-up and similar systems and strategies." - 21/08/2018 - As highlighted above, we have been made to understand that placing these types of restrictions on non-bonus play may not be compliant with EU consumer law. Further to this, the Martingale strategy has been conclusively mathematically proven to offer the player no advantage over the casino. The inclusion of restrictions of this type of betting strategy demonstrate a poor understanding of the games they offer by the casino management.

Closing Thoughts

Failing to provide detailed license information, running on a platform that has had serious issues in the past, a raft of predatory terms and conditions and ties to a platform that are Blacklisted just about everywhere. What part of the mixture sounds like it's going to be a good thing for players?
